Welcome to the CREATIVE WRITING Workshop, a six-week online class that takes place on Thursdays (TBD).
This workshop may be of interest if you are working on stories, essays, blog posts, a book, or another long-form manuscript.
On Mondays, participants will submit weekly writing pieces of up to 1,500 words.

Meet your teacher: Sufian Zhemukhov is an award-winning author. He received the 2020 J. J. Reneaux Emerging Artist Award, from the National Storytelling Network “to a storyteller of major and unique performing talent.” Dr. Zhemukhov teaches international affairs at George Washington University. His recent book, Mass Religious Ritual and Intergroup Tolerance (Cambridge UP) won the 2019 Best Book Award from the International Studies Association.
